INVEST IN THE FUTURE

SUMMIT AREA YMCA CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
PROJECT PROGRESS

OVER $20 MILLION INVESTMENT

With over $20 million in new capital investments, the Summit Area YMCA will continue to develop our Berkeley Heights YMCA and Summit YMCA facilities in ways that advance our mission.

We will welcome all community members and allow our teachers, instructors, and staff to deliver best-in-class health and wellness programs, exercise classes, child care curriculum and community outreach events.

VISION &
IMPACT

These capital improvements – a renovation of the Summit YMCA and a relocation and new construction of the Berkeley Heights YMCA – will result in improved functionality, improved member service, and improved programs at both branches.

This bold investment will provide sustainable service to our community and neighboring towns, home to over 50,000 individuals.

ENVISION OUR POTENTIAL

The long-term success of our facilities will ensure people are healthier, happier and stronger as we continue to adapt to the changing needs of our growing community.

“It is not about the building, square footage, or the pool. It is about expanding our mission, expanding our impact. It is about having the ability to really change lives.” says Summit Area YMCA President & CEO Paul Kieltyka.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT & CEO

Picture
I firmly believe these capital improvements will allow us to serve the community with the quality, thoughtful service that thousands of residents have come to know at our Ys. We will now have more opportunities to collaborate with local organizations and partners, serve more children and families, create additional programs of all disciplines and be cemented as the true community leader for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Please join me as we embark on this ambitious campaign to enrich and sustain the foundations of our great community.
